This past weekend Brooklyn Oenology exhibited at the second annual New York Wine Expo at the Jacob Javits Center.
Somehow, we got one of the best tables in the hall; at the corner of a row just to the right of the entrance! The only way I can explain that is that the exhibit gods gave us the table. Maybe it had something to do with being a NYC winery… Whatever it was, it was huge for us, because we were swamped with tasters! I hadn’t talked so much for so long in quite a while.
We got lots of visitors, so many of whom were so enthusiastic about our wines and the label artists. It was so heartening to hear the support from everyone – so thanks everyone! Not only were we visited by the general public, but we met a lot of folks from the media. Cuisine Insight.com, a web-based wine and food interview show, made a special stop-over and did an interview with me:
Many kudos to my boyfriend Craig, who is the most un-shy person I know – he scoured the Wine Expo floor for members of the press and trade to bring them over to our table to taste the wine and hear what BOE is all about.
